my hard drive is full... i think

recently i had to do a system refresh but it didnt werk so i re-installed the operating system disk my hard drive is segmented and the part that my programs are on says its full... i used CCLEAN to clean up the registry... didnt do much... defrag and all the regular clean up stuff... didnt really help. i freed up 2 gigs on my d:/ but my c:/ is still almost full to capasity... do u think windows is installed twice and if so how do i fix that? if not... any suggestions?

i dont have the duisks for stuff... i have a recovery disk.... but it only works till i go online i dont think its deleting te temp files... i delete them, but nothing changes

Open each drive, and see if there is a windows or a winnt folder. If there is, right click on it and click properties. Give it a bit until the size settles on a number. If the number is more than 400-500mb, then it is an installation of windows. This is how you can tell if windows is installed on both drives. If it is not, you can uninstall programs on the c: drive and install them on the d: drive by changing the installation folder suring installation. Obviously only do this for programs that you have the installation disks for or that can be downloaded.
