my computer works fine when i am not connected to the internet. as soon as i connect to the internet and open my browser my computer will start to slow way down and then freeze. when i disconnect from the internet its still slow and i will have to restart. the only thing that i have seen different is ask toolbar on internet explorer so i deleted it but the problem still occurs. i ran avast antivirus, adware 2008 and malwarebytes and all have came up zero infections. i do not know what else to do any help is appreciated.

Is this a laptop or a desktop?
Try installing and running Defraggler:
http://www.defraggler.com/
Also try installing CCleaner, and on the "issues" tab, run a scan and repair all issues, then run again and repair until they are all gone.

When the browser is opened, is it just the browser that is slow or if you press the start button, is that also slower than normal opening?
