thanks for the reply since learnt that if you install internet explorer 8 then outlook express maynot be installed Ihave installed live mail instead thanks once again J.O`B

Are you getting an error message before that stating:
"Outlook Express could could not be started. The application was unable to open the Outlook Express message store. Your computer may be out of memory or your disk is full."?
