I found this webpage as I was surfing and started reading: http://computeradvice.mikebinns.net . I noticed that I had already had or done many of the things that aresuggested on the page for a healthy computer. My problem is that I find many errors or sometimes my computer will restart when Im online or I will get error messages.I have used spybot and adware and Im using Avast as a antivirus. Would you suggest any registry cleaners to me...I am very careful to use cleaners as i know they can really screw things up as i have learned in the past. Any advice would greatly be appreciated. I put the computer together myself and the specs are as follows:
> Intel 2.4 6600 Dual Core processor
> EVGA 7900GTX video card
> 2 gigs of Corsair XMS ram
> 2 320gig Seagate sata hard drives
> 2 Samsung writemaster DVD RW drives
I would highly suggest following this page on that site if you have not already done this: http://computeradvice.mikebinns.net/removeTempFiles.php It is the CCleaner "issues" scan which will fix any registry issues. Make sure you run the issues analyzis, then resolve all the issues, then scan again and resolve, etc... until there are no issues. Then reboot and you should be running much smoother
