when I click on history, there's nothing there? Where is it and what happened to it?

It most likly got cleaned out, Are you using CCleaner? If so, open it and on the "Cleaner" tab, uncheck the box next to "history". If you are using Firefox, click the "applications" tab at the top and then uncheck the box next to "internet history". Run the cleaner, then close the program. It will not return your old history, that is gone, but it will prevent it from doing the same thing again.
