Just discovered your site.
Need some help.
I am not a computer quizz?
Just know enough to be dangerous.
I have just purchased online the AVG Internet Security Software.
I downloaded it entered activation key and away it went.
It stopped after a fe seconds advising it had detected existing Antivirus software and recommended I remove it.
I went start - controlbox-add/removeprograms etc
Re-run the installation and it stopped again giving same reason.
Help!
I just spent approx $100 on the software and cannot get it runing.
PS Also sent request to support center AVG
STILL NO ANSWER

What I would suggest is this: Contact AVG and get your money back. Remove the software, and install the free version of Avast Antivirus:

Avast Antivirus has Antivirus, AntiSpyware, and a Firewall (NetShield) included, all for free. I have found Avast to be much better than AVG overall.
