Your website has been so amazingly helpful. Thanks for the step by step explanations in simple English. Could you possibly do a similiar walk-through for setting up Ventrilo? We've got it downloaded to the computer, but we can't get the mike to work. (Yes, we've plugged it in.) I've even gotten as far as Control Panel -- Sounds -- now what?
Your help would be most appreciated. I may not be the only one with this challenge.

Yes, thank you for checking back. We tried switching the ports, but that wasn't the problem. However, my husband worked on it one evening and whatever he did, it began to work perfectly. He's just so smart that way!

There are two "in" ports on most computers, one is a "line in", and one is a "microphone". Try swapping to the other one.

Were you ever able to get Ventrillo to work?
